Bad News - Susan May has lost her appeal
In the High Court, this morning at 10.00
am three judges, Justices Buckley, Grigson and Lord Justice Kennedy entered
and sat down.
Lord Justice Kennedy, a arrogant sadistic
bastard, said "This appeal is dismissed". And the three judges
got up and walked out. ( not one of the three as much as glanced at Susan
in the dock.) The whole process from when they walked in to when they
walked out took less than a minute, the verdict took less than two seconds
to deliver.
The public gallery erupted with
cries of 'Shame' 'Bastards'. Some of Susan's supporters could not immediately
comprehend what had happened.
Many of us in the public gallery
who have attended hundreds of appeals have never heard a decision delivered
in this manner. Paddy Hill (Birmingham six), was totally outraged.
Campbell Malone and Mike Mansfield,
(Susan's solicitor and barrister), who between them have over 70 years
of listening to appeals, were adamant that they or no one they knew, had
heard a decision delivered in this manner.
After the verdict a spokesperson for the Susan May
Campaign said:
Despite the many proven cases of police
malpractice in recent months and years the court has yet again demonstrated
that it is more concerned with protecting a constantly discredited judicial
system than injustice itself.
It refuses to acknowledge charges of police
corruption or flaws in the system and would rather an innocent woman continue
to rot in prison than accept the unpalatable truth.
Those of us who are aware of the nightmare
that Susan may has endured for nine long years can only continue to fight
on for her release.
We will be consulting with Susan's lawyers,
with a view to taking the case to Europe.
